This blog was created in October 2008 by the Chinese Civilisation Centre at the City University of Hong Kong with the aim of providing a platform on which ideas and knowledge on Chinese civilisation can be exchanged and disseminated.
Taking advantage of the international characteristics of Hong Kong, the Centre was established in 1998 with the ideal of bringing the treasures and values of Chinese civilisation to the knowledge of our students, and in a broader sense, for international appreciation.
Pulse is maintained by Audrey J. Heijns, research fellow at the Centre. Email: jheijns@cityu.edu.hk
