Ba Jin, Wang Meng, Ai Qing, Yu Ying-shih, Shen Congwen, Jin Yong, Qian Zhongshu… all major Chinese writers of the twentieth century whose literary works have been read widely and won universal praise. But what about their letters, paintings and calligraphy?
A new exhibition entitled ‘Man of Letters: Special Exhibition of Epistles, Paintings & Calligraphies’ is scheduled to run from 22 June till 30 July 2011. On display will be letters, paintings and calligraphy by more than ten modern literary figures from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas. Come and see these works. A rare opportunity not to be missed.
